Gallery Spammage ...
A Bouncing Party and New Cels ... last modified: Saturday, September 20, 2008 (10:32:37 PM) My kiddo turned five this past week. Five! I can't believe that. *sigh* We had her b-day party at this really great party facility that specializes in those moon-bounce things. Almost two hours of running around like a maniac, playing in the bouncing rooms, followed by pizza, ice cream cake, balloons, and goodie bags. What more could a five-year-old want? And, it turned out to be a great party. I was so relieved, because my kiddo has been talking about having this party for over a year. Which is a LONG time for a little kid to focus on one thing.
The evening ended on a painful note for me, though. Hubby and I were straightening our living room after the mass hysteria of opening b-day gifts ... plus, we were looking for our missing remote control. I was on the floor, looking for the remote under a chair. Hubby picked up a fan (so he could put it away in the garage), and it slipped out of his hand. It ended up falling On My Head. >.O OUCH! Luckily, it wasn't a hard hit, but the fan is heavy. I have a knot where it hit me, and I still have a headache. In gallery news, I recently got a bunch of new things in. I'm in the process of slowly uploading them. I did some over the past week, and will probably finish up the rest on Monday or Tuesday. It's not often I have more than one or two cels to add at a time, so having a larger batch has been kind of fun for me.
The fan sounds like something out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. First the dog (maybe she should be *Brown Hayate* XD) and then a fan. Maybe you had better get a hardhat! When I saw the Amon Saga cel listed in your LJ entry I thought it was from the same show as my cel. Then I looked at it (on your main site) and saw which Amon it was. *lol* Gorgeous update as always!! I think the best is yet to come, right? *wink,wink, nudge, nudge*
Ha, ha! It would have felt more cartoon-y had it not been my head on a stick. Or, under a fan, as it were. =P I still have a headache. >.O And, yes, yes!! The best is yet to come. At least, I think so. I''m saving it for last. *happeh* (Although I doubt anyone but me will be sqweely-thrilled with seeing it. *laughs*)
Glad your okay, that could have been mucho worse >< I can see why you bought Yukito on impulse, he is just to adorable in that shot. Kudos on the great additions!!
Thanks, Otakusin! *gloms* How have you been, by the way? I hope things are going OK for you. I''m so out of touch with everyone now-a-days. *shame* You''re right. It could have been much worse, considering the fan probably weighs about 20 pounds. o_o My head still hurts today where I got hit ... and I still have a headache, but nothing compared to what I had yesterday. Hopefully I''ll feel fine by tomorrow. Darn fan. *grumbles*
