Gallery Spammage ...
Thanks for all the Fish! last modified: Thursday, June 12, 2008 (8:53:14 AM) Wow, it's been quite a while since my last weblog entry. I checked the date right before I deleted it, and it was back in March. Partly, I've had nothing to say that seemed relevant to RS and collecting. Partly, I've taken to blogging on LJ only. And, I've just been feeling not very talkative within the community, in general, of late.
But, I wanted to post a quick "thank you" blog. I'm so excited that my gallery reached 30K hits last night. Wow!! 30K hits -- I've watched so many other galleries I admire reach this goal over the last year or so, and I never thought my gallery could reach it, too. It's silly, but I'm really happy about it. And, I'd like to send a HUGE thank-you out to everyone who has visited. I'm grateful to all of you. I feel I should probably do a new layout or something to celebrate, but I currently have no ideas for a new look. And, I kind of like my Bish Closet design. I guess it'll be hanging around for a while -- at least, until the next chance I get to upload a holiday-themed design. And, I don't have any special update, either. My buying and updating has slowed down quite a lot in recent months. But!! I did post an update yesterday that I'm really excited about. I think my gallery actually managed to stay on the front page long enough for a few folks to see it. I have no idea why my updates shoot off so quickly while others' seem to stay up there forever ... and, in the end, it doesn't matter all that much. Just something that I ponder when I have nothing better to do -- LOL. Anyhow, I'll include links to the new things. It wasn't a large update in quantity, but both of the new cels are incredibly special to me, and things I'm thrilled to have. I spent a lot of time giggling over them yesterday while I updated. Congrats on reaching 30K!! Your gallery was bound to get there with all the great cels and the great comments (which yes people do read lol). Otakusin: OMG -- I really did not think anyone (except for me) would take the time to read my rambly comments. I write them for my own pleasure, but it means the world to know that people read them. =) Thanks for the kind words re: the update. It was a small one, but I can''t remember the last time I was this overly excited about new cel additions. The Ran/Sakura is very special to me, and getting it is like a little dream come true. I miss yakking at you, too. I''ve been busy trying to finish my book, and just kind of got a bit blah about things, in general. I had a string of really bad experiences at the end of last year. No worse than what others have had in the hobby, but it was a lot all at one time. So, I''ve kind of gone a bit reclusive. It''s so nice of you to say I''m still "loved" by folks in the community, becuase that''s not something I have felt in the recent past. Thanks so much for your kind words on the new cels. I''m so excited over them! The FSS is unbelievable to me. I never expected to have even one cel from that movie. And, I was floored by how well preserved this one was. It is beautiful in person, particularly considering its age. I think Aya looks dreamy, too. But, then, I always think that about him. I''m such a fangirl. LOL JWR: Thanks so much! Congrats Tex! ^_^ I only hope that someday my gallery can be as well-loved as yours. The FSS cel is beautiful. I love her pose and delicate eyelashes. If this keeps up, you might have to break those cels out of the misc section and give them their own space. ^_~ And . . . Squeeeeee!!!!! This is one gorgeous Aya cel! The planets certainly aligned when the animators planned that one out! I''ve only watched the series once, and I knew generally where it came from, so I''m sure it''s a cel that makes many a fan girl''s heart go pit-a-pat. Congrats! You deserve it!

I actually click on new stuff then click on comment and get to your regular section with the comments. Love reading them. I am not good with writing, so my collection is displayed without any text.
