Public apology last modified: Friday, April 13, 2012 (7:11:56 PM) For anyone over the years I may have offended with my greedy, vindictive outlook on Phibrizzo cels, I humbly apologize.I have done some growing up. In fact I am liquidating pretty much everything now including over half of my Phibrizzo cels. My gallery will remain up forever but I'm quitting the collecting game.

Though I''m not quite sure why the public apology - I can say that I will be sad to see you go. Like yourself I obsessively collect collect one character and I feel a kinship with how you felt and needed to collect Phibrizzo. I thought to myself, this person probably reacts the same way I do when I get a Saitou cel to "come home". Hehe. Well growing up doesn''t mean you have to give up the thing you like best, unless of course the thing you like best changes. Good luck in the future.

Not being an avid Slayers collector, I''ve stayed out of harm''s way. But I appreciate your willingness to "come clean." It is true that cel collecting is one hobby where owning an item means that no one else can, and so there is a mean streak in all of us. (Grrrrr...) But you''ve been a hero in posting and celebrating your collection, which stands in your favor. May it stay up forever, even as you move on as a person. |
