Ponderisms
Funnel cakes and Gyros... last modified: Friday, August 26, 2005 (2:17:36 AM) ...was what I found at the county fair today. I went with my boyfriend, who hadn't been to it for over two years. I kept running into people that I didn't want to run into, but I made myself sound as pleasant as possible. As is tradition in my family, I went and had my finger pecked by a temperamental chicken and touched a pig snout. Tomorrow - fair burgers (the best in the world!) Saturday is the rodeo, Sunday is Sunday, and school on Monday (icky poo!) What's on your agenda for this weekend???
Mmmm, that sounds soooo tasty. >.< I''m drooling. Our state fair isn''t too far off either. Can''t wait. To be honest, I think I just go to eat and shop. Nothing beats a nice fair or carnival though. My favorite is the Midway; gotta love a fixed game.
Hehehe...that''s true. I''ve kinda grown out of the games and rides... with ticket prices being the way that they are, the carnival can keep the pieces of paper. Wednesday was family night and tickets were ONLY a dollar. What''s up with that? (done in my best Cliff Clavin impression.) I only go for the entertainment and the exhibits now.
I think I remember what those are? Working seven days a week (even if not full days) just sucks the joy out of weekends. >_< So um, my plans? Work, cruise rs, work a little more, cruise beta, work a little less, go home. Repeat on Sunday. XD Actually, Sunday, throw in go to church (hope it doesn''t kill me), and after work, work on stained glass! ^_^
This weekend? I''ve got to clean my dirty house! And I''m getting in some cels and settei (which will hopefully arrive today!), so I''ll probably be busy scanning my butt off.
That sounds like fun!! My weekend is going to be full of work and work. XD I also have a class on Saturday. Yuck. |
